AthleticsAt OWU, we want you to satisfy every curiosity and explore every opportunity—classes, clubs, the arts, sports, and service. This is a fully residential campus, and the OWU experience goes 24/7. Something's always happening at Hamilton-Williams Campus Center, and our residence halls, Greek houses, and SLUs are alive with activity.
The JAYwalk
Life on campus starts around the fountain on the JAYwalk. That's our "town square," between Beeghly Library and Ham-Wil Campus Center. You'll see virtually everyone here at some point in the day. And be sure to say "hi" to President Rock Jones, and introduce yourself when you see him there at lunch or an event.
The JAYwalk connects OWU's academic core with the residential west side of campus. And twice a year, it's where we all come together for Day on the JAY celebrations—the most popular days of the year at OWU.
Small Living Units (SLUs) at the west end of the JAYwalk lead students along Rowland Avenue to the rest of the residential campus, including the new senior apartments in Bradford Milligan Hall and newly-renovated Smith Hall for first-year students.
Connect on Campus
Esports, Investment Club, Anime Club, Black Student Union, OWU Faith & Justice, OWU Rhythms, Wesleyan Council on Student Affairs, Cheerleading and more! Bishops are involved and active.

Terpsicorps
Every spring semester, the student-run dance group Terpsicorps hold a series of performances choreographed by members.
Rugby
The men's and women's rugby teams are two of OWU's popular club sports.
Culture Fest
Many cultural clubs come together for one night of international food, dance, music and more at Culture Fest.
A Cappella
All of OWU's a cappella groups rehearse hard for the annual A Cappellooza.
Downtown Destination
Historic Downtown Delaware is a 5-minute walk from campus. Students regularly head down the hill to coffee shops, a variety of restaurants, shopping, the classic Strand Theatre, Whit’s Frozen Custard, and events like First Friday and Farmers' Market Saturdays.
With a population of 39,000 and a thriving economy, Delaware was named one of Ohio’s healthiest cities.

Take a quick walk down Sandusky Street to visit a variety of shops, including pizza, breweries, antiques, and plenty of cafés.
