Ohio Wesleyan Head Football Coach Retires After 25 Seasons
During his 25 seasons at the helm, Mike Hollway led the Battling Bishops to a North Coast Athletic Conference championship and six runner-up finishes.
Ohio Wesleyan was rated in the NCAA Division III Top 25 seven times under his leadership. And when he retires at year’s end, Hollway will be Ohio Wesleyan’s winningest football coach, compiling a career record of 139-110-1.
Current defensive coordinator Pat Delaney will serve as interim head coach as OWU undertakes a national search to find the next Battling Bishop leader.
“Mike has been more than a coach,” says Roger Ingles, athletic director. “He has been a role model and mentor to his team members since joining Ohio Wesleyan in 1987. He has been committed to helping players succeed athletically and academically.”
Thank you, Coach Hollway, for your service and best wishes in the next chapter of your life! Read more about Hollway and his OWU legacy here.
