Field Technician at National Ecological Observatory Network (NEON) in Fairbanks, Alaska
Kanku interned with the Borgen Project to reduce global poverty. She received OWU Connection Grants to study imperialism in France, migration stories between Mexico and the U.S. border, spatial justice after Apartheid in South Africa, redlining within Chicago, and the works of Common Grounds in relation to homelessness in Michigan; research project on the redlining system between Chicago and Paris in relation to housing.

Borish performed research with Dr. Chris Wolverton on a NASA project on plant perception of gravity. She participated in Moot Court competition and traveled to the Galapagos Islands for a travel-learning course

Habib's OWU connection experience includes research on the behavior of Superconducting Quantum Interference Devices and Josephson Junctions, a primary component of any superconducting circuit. He is a Delta Tau Delta.

“The Economics faculty and staff have given me the courage and confidence to strive for my highest goals. Without their help, I probably wouldn't be getting ready to start my dream job in July.” Knowlton launched her own candy company, Sweet Lizabella’s. She received a Woltemade Center internship and traveled to Mexico on a travel-learning course.

“The opportunity to study in Panama with world-class scientists on the forefront of conservation was so important for affirming that I am studying what I want to be. I wouldn’t have been able to do that without funding from the Theory to Practice Grant program.”
