Fine Arts, Theatre, and Music offer four year scholarships to incoming students who are interested in studying in one of these areas. To be considered for these scholarships, students must provide supplemental information, such as a portfolio or audition. Auditions and interviews can be scheduled throughout the year by logging into your OWU applicant portal. Read on to find out if these requirements apply to you and get information on how and when to apply.
Students can only apply for these additional scholarship opportunities after they have applied to Ohio Wesleyan.
Fine Arts Supplement
- Submit the Fine Arts Scholarship Application by March 1.
- Submit a portfolio of your work by March 1. It should be uploaded at the time you complete the Fine Arts Scholarship Application.
- It is recommended that you submit a variety of original work (5-10 pieces) that best represents the breadth of your art experience.
- Interview with a member of the fine arts faculty. Registration for an interview occurs at the time you complete the Fine Arts Scholarship Application.
Music Supplement
- Submit the Music Scholarship Application by March 1.
- Audition by March 1 either in-person or by submitting a video submission. Video submissions should be uploaded at the time you complete the Music Scholarship Application.
- Interview with a member of the music faculty either in-person or virtually. Registration for an interview occurs at the time you complete the Music Scholarship Application.
Theatre Supplement
- Submit the Theatre Scholarship Application by March 1.
- Audition and interview with a member of the theatre faculty either in-person or virtually. Registration for an audition and interview occurs at the time you complete the Theatre Scholarship Application.
- Submit a portfolio of your work by March 1. It should be uploaded at the time you complete the Theatre Scholarship Application.
