Registration Schedule
Registration for the Spring 2023 semester
The following steps provide the information you need for Spring 2023 registration. Please review this information carefully as each class level has two business days to register for Spring classes online.
Open advising for Spring 2023 registration begins Wednesday, October 19, 2022-Friday, October 21 and Monday, October 24, 2022 - Friday, October 28, 2022.
Step 1: Log into Self Service https://campus.owu.edu/selfserv/
Step 2: Make an appointment to meet with your academic advisor during Open Advising Wednesday, October 19, 2022-Friday, October 21 and Monday, October 24, 2022 - Friday, October 28, 2022 for registration authorization. You can meet with your advisor after Oct. 28, 2022 to discuss classes but you must meet with your advisor prior to the opening of your registration portal. See Step 5 to learn when your registration portal opens.
Step 3: Look at degreeaudit.owu.edu to see which courses you need to take and put up to 4.75 units of those in your Spring 2023 cart in self-service.
Step 4: If you have an Account Balance hold, please contact the Student Accounts Office studentaccounts@owu.edu to resolve the hold at least one business day prior to your registration window as this hold will prevent Registration.
Step 5: Make sure you know which two days you are able to register (this is based on credits earned not how long you have been a student, see the Class Level in the chart below).
If you do not know your class level, please check the Overall Earned Credits column listed at the end of your unofficial transcript located on OWU Self-Service. Student Class Levels are also listed below.
Students who miss their registration window may register starting Monday, November 14, 2022.

The last day to add/drop for the Spring 2023 Full semester courses and First-Module courses and for credit/No entry is Thursday, January 26, 2023.
The last day to add/drop for the Spring 2023 Second-Module courses and for credit/No entry is Thursday, March 23, 2023.
