Seniors

Brooke Hall

Brooke is a senior from Julian, Pennsylvania. She is pursuing a major in Exercise Science and a minor in Research Psychology. In addition to being on the Honors Board, Brooke is an active member of Circle K, Chair of the Health and Human Kinetics Board, and one of the captains of the OWU ultimate frisbee team. On campus, Brooke is a Resident Assistant in Stuyvesant Hall, a Teaching Assistant for Quantitative Methods and Research Methods in the Psychology Department, and a Career Ambassador for the Career Connection Office.

Grace Ison

Grace is a senior from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is pursuing a major in Neuroscience with minors in Psychology and Chemistry. As well as being a member of the Honors Board, Grace is involved in the Outdoor Ministry Team and works at a local outpatient radiology center. In her free time, Grace loves playing with dogs, spending time with friends, reading good books, and doing yoga.

Makenna Juergens

Makenna is a senior from Springfield, OH. She is pursuing a major in Pre-Professional Zoology with minors in Psychology and Chemistry. In addition to being a member of the Honors Board, Makenna spends the majority of her time in the lab researching Daphnia (a small freshwater invertebrate) and preparing for graduate school. Outside of academics, Makenna enjoys her job working at a doggy daycare, reading things other than scientific papers, and forcing her friends to listen to rockabilly.

Teresa Martin

Teresa is a senior from Rochester, New York. She is pursuing a major in Politics & Government with a minor in History. Besides being on the Honors Board, Teresa is involved in OWU’s Symphonic Wind Ensemble as a tenor saxophone player, has a job as a campus tour guide, and is the vice president of Pet Pals. For her honors independent study, she is researching the evolving relationship of music and political preferences among U.S. voters. In her free time, Teresa enjoys listening to music, visiting cat shelters, and going out for ice cream with her friends!


Juniors

Anneliese Ingraham

Anneliese is a junior from Oak Park, Michigan, who is double majoring in Pre-Law and Sociology/Anthropology, with a double minor in French and Voice Performance. In addition to sitting on the Honors Student Board, Anneliese sits on the World Languages and Cultures Student Board and is in the Honors and Global Scholars Programs. Anneliese is the Vice President of Values and Ethics of the Panhellenic Council, one of the Co-Presidents of the French Club at OWU, a member of Kappa Alpha Theta, a WCSA Student Justice, and an RA in Hayes Hall. In her free time, Anneliese loves spending time with her family and friends.


Sophomores

Grace Martin

Grace is a sophomore from Westerville, Ohio. She is pursuing a degree in Mathematics with a minor in Education to become a high school math teacher. As well as being a member of the Honors Board, she is an Educational Fellow and a member of the Symphonic Wind ensemble. In her free time, she works with Unity Community Center, volunteers at their STEAM club for K-12, and works in the dining halls. Outside of academics and work, she loves to listen to music, watch TV/movies with her family and friends, and play with her cats.
