In this program, students complete the first two years of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Ohio Wesleyan. When these specific prerequisite course requirements are met, students may complete their BSN at Mount Carmel College of Nursing in five semesters.
Students in the Advanced Placement Program complete two years of study at OWU (approximately 18 courses). Required or recommended courses include:

Recommended electives include a foreign language and a combination of REL 102 Introduction to Religion AND SOAN 347 Health, Culture, and Society (REL 102 and SOAN 347 must both be taken to receive MCCN credit.)
Students who complete the pre-nursing curriculum requirements at OWU with a minimum of "C" in all transfer course work, and who have achieved a minimum of 3.0 cumulative grade point average at OWU, will automatically be accepted into MCCN's Advanced Placement Program.
