Rice Scholarship

The Rice Summer Scholarship was established about 100 years ago by former students of Professor E. L. Rice in recognition of his 30 years of distinguished service to Ohio Wesleyan University. Funds are granted annually to one or two students to help pay the tuition for a class or research experience at a recognized summer field station. The amount of the stipend depends on the number of scholarships granted and endowment earnings. Recent awards have been between $500-$1,000.
