Presidential Search Timeline

Summer 2022	Pre-search preparation
Early September 2022	The search goes live, with posts on the Academic Search website and in online advertising venues.
Early September - Late October 2022	Search consultants build candidate pool. OWU community is invited to provide nominations.
November 2022	Search committee conducts confidential interviews with semi-finalist candidates. Search Committee recommends finalist candidates.
December 2022	Finalists are interviewed. Search committee and search consultants meet to synthesize all of the materials and information gathered on the finalist candidates and prepare a report for the Board of Trustees.
December 2022	Board of Trustees selects candidate of choice.
January 2023	Appointment of next OWU president announced.
July 1, 2023	New president takes office.
