Jan has directed and managed all aspects of sales, business development and operations including marketing, distribution, and customer service driving revenue stream. Relationship building describes her customer service strategy. She is exceptional at training and communication with individuals and groups at all levels. She has achieved outstanding results in both private and public organizations, having experience with both market leaders and growth companies. Some of the companies she has worked for include Citibank, Sallie Mae/Navient, Bloomingdale's, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, and the May Company. Her titles have run the gamut from Territory Manager to Director of Sales, to Manager and Buyer.

She is happy to provide support and be contacted by students and/or Alumni who are in Political Science or Business, and she can provide her expertise on loans, personal finance, paying for college, retail industry, wholesale industry, and student loan industry. She can offer assistance by:

  • Speaking with a student virtually or on the phone
  • Mentoring a student
  • Assisting OWU Alumni (recent Alumni, or Alumni in transition)
  • Serving as a resume-reviewer for OWU students and/or Alumni

Jan was a Political Science major at OWU. She was an active Alpha Gamma Delta, secretary on Panhellenic, played Lacrosse, and tutored students from other countries in English.

Currently, she is involved with OWU in A/PART.     She is the Panhellenic Vice President for the Washington DC region. She is on the Board of Directors for the Chelsea School. In her spare time, she volunteers at the Philipps Collection and Hillwood. She is on the Sustainer Board for the Junior League of Washington.  Feel free to reach out to her if she may provide assistance to any students and alumni.
