Toby is a Product Owner at Allegis Group Inc. Prior to that, he was a Recruiter Manager at TEKsystems Inc. for over 4 years, an IT services organization, and a subsidiary of Allegis companies.

As Product Owner, he’s responsible for setting, prioritizing, and accepting the work generated by software development teams and business stakeholders to ensure the most valuable, proper functionality, and delivery of technologies. Other responsibilities include gathering feature requests, scheduling software releases, and coordinating sprints.

Product Owners identify user needs, help customers understand a business value, and bring the business perspective to the software product being created and sustained into a cross-functional team.

He is happy to provide ongoing support to students and Alumni on technology, sales, and recruiting:

  • Speaking with a student 1:1 on campus
  • Speaking with a student virtually or on the phone
  • Presenting to a class in-person
  • Presenting to a student organization
  • Conducting a virtual webinar
  • Serving as a resume-reviewer for OWU students and/or Alumni
  • Participating in OWU events such as speed networking, mock interviewing, panels, etc.

Toby majored in Economics Management at OWU, and he was involved with Alpha Sigma Phi, Club Rugby, and IFC. He has also been recently involved with Career Connection as an Alumni in Residence and with the Alumni Center.
