Presented by the Ross Art Museum and about his contributions to the ‘What We Make’ exhibit
Robby Herbst is an interdisciplinary artist and critical writer who is interested in the ways in which politics, language, and ideology are manifested in bodies as expression, movement, history, and action. Activating the sculptural objects on display at the Ross museum, I + We is an experimental and participatory (political) movement workshop organized by Robby Herbst. Borrowing techniques from dance, social sculpture, and New Games, the structured hour-and-a-half experience explores collective identity, play, and movement.
