Terese Mailhot is a Native American author from Seabird Island Band. She graduated with an MFA from the Institute of American Indian Arts and now teaches at Purdue University. She is the author of the New York Times bestselling Heart Berries: A Memoir. Mailhot will be giving a reading from Heart Berries, sharing her thoughts on the power of activism through writing, and offering a Q&A and book signing.
